Sam Meador is an Ohio artist and community builder focusing her energy on encouraging individuals and communities to find their uniqueness and amplify their voices. In 2014 she co-created Hilltop Stories: A Neighborhood Film Festival that celebrated Walnut Hills, a Cincinnati neighborhood. Meador’s work, inspired by pedestrian aspects of conscious living, explores time, endurance, optimism, and labor. She received an MA from Case Western Reserve, a BFA from the Cleveland Institute of Art and an MFA from the Columbus College of Art and Design.
