Sam Meador

Sam Meador is an Ohio artist and community builder focusing her energy on encouraging individuals and communities to find their uniqueness and amply their voices. In 2014 she co-created Hilltop Stories: A Neighborhood Film Festival that celebrated Walnut Hills, a Cincinnati neighborhood. Meador’s work, inspired by pedestrian aspects of conscious living, explores time, endurance, optimism, and labor. She received an MA from Case Western Reserve, a BFA from the Cleveland Institute of Art and is currently an MFA candidate at the Columbus College of Art and Design.
